A misunderstanding between two individuals, on being the tenant of a rental property and the other the landlord, led to the detention of one Maverick County man.
According to a press release by the Maverick County Sheriff's Department, deputies met with a complainant who stated she and her husband visited with a tenant in regards to a stove, at which point a verbal argument ensued between her husband and the tenant.
The female subject also advised that during the confrontation, tenant struck her on several occasions on the shoulder with the screen door.
