Camino Real Community Services invites the general public to the Open House for the Maverick County Adult Mental Health Crisis Residential Unit located at 2644 Encino Park Drive, Eagle Pass 78852, on Friday, May 15, 2015, from 12:00 PM to 3:0 P.M.
    The Adult Mental Health Crisis Residential Unit is the latest in a series of new mental health programs developed and operated by Camino Real Community Services in Eagle Pass.  All the programs are designed to help individuals in Maverick, Dimmit and Zavala Counties access mental health services without having to leave their community and their local support systems.
    The Adult Mental Health Crisis Residential Unit will open for business at 8:00 A.M., Monday, May 18, 2015.  The Crisis Residential Unit will provide up to 14 days of in-house mental health treatment for individuals in a mental health crisis, such as being depressed, having suicidal thoughts, or needing to start or re-start their medications for their mental health illness. The individuals served by the Crisis Residential Unit will have 24-hour access to a psychiatrist, nurses, and trained staff to help in their mental health recovery.
