Airman Jesse Garcia shows appreciation for EPHS

On Monday, April 27, 2015, Air Force Senior Airman Jesse Garcia visited Eagle Pass High School. A 2008 graduate of Eagle Pass High School, Jesse presented Captain Shockey with a flag that flew on a combat mission in Afghanistan as appreciation for the skills he developed during his 4 years in the TX-092 AFJROTC program.

SeniorAirman Jesse Garcia was recently named Airman of the Year at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas besting 1,300 other Airman for the coveted title.  He returned from deployment to the Middle East and is the only member of his contingent to receive the Air Force Achievement Medal for his participation in the deployment.  Airman Garcia’s unselfish actions bring credit to himself, his family, his community, Eagle Pass High School and The United States of America.
