He said the parade was rescheduled for Saturday April 11th at 5:00 pm, starting from San Juan Plaza downtown and will finish in front of the old Maverick County Court House located on Main Street in downtown Eagle Pass.

"All we are waiting on is approval of administration and the Eagle Pass Police Department, in order to have the proper permits and police protection for the activity," added Cruz.      He added that although a dog parade has been held in our city in the past, this will be the first of its kind to be carried during the International Friendship Festival and already will have the participation of 20 dogs and the invitation remains open to register your pet at City Hall today!  Call 773-1111.

Desfile de Mascotas el 11 de Abril a las  5 p.m.

Director del Main Street Project Joe Cruz, anunció que el Pooch Parade (Desfile de Mascotas) de Super Heroes fijado inicialmente para el 21 de Marzo ha sido reprogramado para el próximo fin de semana, después de que se canceló el sábado pasado debido a las inclemencias del tiempo y todavía se llevará a cabo dentro del Festival Internacional de la Amistad 2015.    Dijo que el desfile fue reprogramado para el Sábado 11 de Abril a las 5:00 pm, a partir de San Juan Plaza centro y terminará en frente del antiguo Tribunal del Condado de Maverick situado en la calle principal en el centro de Eagle Pass.

Agregó que si bien un desfile perro se ha celebrado en nuestra ciudad en el pasado, esta será la primera de su tipo en es llevado durante el Festival Internacional de la Amistad y ya contará con la participación de 20 perros y la invitación sigue abierta para registrar su mascotas en City Hall hoy!  Llamen al 773-1111.
