Over 200 staff members from from San Antonio, Pearsal, Uvalde, Crystal City, Carrizo Springs and the three centers here in Eagle Pass were on hand to take part in these important training courses that the state provides and helps them to better service children primarily of migrants and seasonal farm workers ranging in age from 4 weeks to 5 years.
These centers are federally funded and as a requirement the state conducts these trainings twice a year for the staff which include Curriculum for education, mental health training, transportation training as well as others.
