Chief of Police Antonio Castañeda, informed The News Gram that police, when patrolling Coahuila Street on the south side of eagle Pass, pulled over a vehicle who wa missing a licence plate on the front of the vehicle adjacent to the fire station on El Indio Highway. The driver stopped, but escaped without being able to be detained. The incident occurred at about 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday evening. The police chief said that the officials proceeded to search the vehicle and in the tool box, they found the illegal substance. The case remains under investigation and the vehicle was not reported missing and the driver remains unidentified. Both the vehicle and the drugs were confiscated and remain under the watchful eye of law enforcement.
