On behalf of Ms. Alatorre and the CTE Department we would like to congratulate our Skills USA Cosmetology competitors for Advancing to State Level. Our competitors competed this past weekend for District 12 Skills USA Leadership in Laredo.

Chapter 3695 Cosmetology the following students attend Eagle Pass High School Cosmetology Quiz Bowl. 

1st place - Judith Barrera, Vivian Fuentes , Cristina Ibarra, Daisy Jaquez, Kassandra Perez, Ruth Perez, and Andrea Ramos Nail Art 

1st Place - Vivian Fuentes (Senior); 2nd place Nail Art – Kassandra Perez (Junior)  

Nail Art Project Display   - Superior Blue Ribbon   - Kassandra Perez and Alexis Flores 

Community Service 

1st place– Daisy Jaquez and  Ruth Perez (Seniors); Haircutting 2nd place – Judith Barrera (Senior); Esthetics  2nd place  – Andrea Ramos (Senior)

Cosmetology 3rd place - Daisy Jaquez (Senior). 

Contestants brought home 3 trophies, 10 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal a total of 14 medals. Congratulations to all and Good luck at State!! Students are getting ready to prepare for State end of March 26-28,2015 in Corpus Christi.
