“After much thought, I have decided to take this step as an opportunity to continue to enhance the growth in our community,” stated the candidate who has worked diligently to create several significant residential and commercial developments in our community. “My every day focus has been on " creating more local jobs through economic development” I plan on working with City Staff, employees and City Council members to continue to grow our community while making it a better place to live, work and play.”
Mondragon informed The News Gram that he intends to focus on the creation of local jobs, improving our public streets, developing and improving our parks and having greater accountability and transparency for our community.
Present at his swearing in were his parents Francisco and Romelia Mondragon and his brother Carlos. He thanked his sister Romelia who was unable to attend, his friends, family and community residents who believe in him to make a positive change in the community.
