Only Glenna Purcell, Marcos Villalpando, Jose Reyna and Nacho Saucedo, were present at the drawing and know in what order their names appear on the ballot. Each candidate present drew a number to determine the order in which they appear on the ballot. Susy Perez reported that for Place 1, Claudio Heredia's name will appear first before that of Jose Reyna. For place 2 on the board the order of candidates will have Ignacio Saucedo followed by Rodolfo Lopez. Meanwhile for place six on the E.P.I. S. D. Board, the order of candidates appearing on the ballot is as follows, David Riojas, followed by Hector Alvarez and then Jesus Casas. Finally for Place 7, the first to be on the ballot will be Tom Cary, followed by Glena Purcell who is seeking re-election and finally Marcos Villalpando. Susy Perez said that what follows is early voting which will be from October 22nd to November 2nd and the actual election day will be Tuesday, November 6th.

Of a total of 10 candidates, only four appeared to the drawing which will determine which spaces their names will occupy on the ballot for the election to the Eagle Pass ISD Board of Trustees. The event was held in the Board Room of the E.P.I.S.D. on Eidson Road directed by Susie Perez, EPISD Elections Coordinator, in which four positions will be in contention.
