Flores sigue bajo custodia por Asalto Agravado a su Esposa

Luis Flores, de 44 años, de Eagle Pass fue arrestado el martes después de que presuntamente cortara el ojo de su mujer con un arma mortal.
El incidente se produjo en el Loop 480, donde informes del Departamento del Sheriff dice que Flores sacó a su esposa de su vehículo, la arrastró hacia la carretera y procedió a atacarla con lo que los oficiales dijeron que era una navaja.
Sheriff Tom Schmerber le informó al News Gram que Flores permanece bajo custodia y fue magistrado por la Juez de Paz Dora Madera. JP Madera ha ordenado que permaneciera bajo custodia sin derecho a fianza. La mujer permanece en un hospital de San Antonio en condición estable, sin embargo Schmerber dice que ha perdido la visión en al menos uno de sus ojos en este el mas horrible caso que el Condado de Maverick ha visto desde el octubre del 2013, cuando Homero Herrera presuntamente apuñaló fatalmente a su esposa Blanca Herrera en su casa por la calle Medina.
Fiscal de Distrito Roberto Serna dijo que estaban esperando una fecha de corte para el caso de Herrera.

Luis Flores, 44, of Eagle Pass was arrested Tuesday after allegedly cutting his wife's eye out with a deadly weapon.
The incident occurred just before midnight on Loop 480, where a Sheriff's Department report says that Flores pulled his estranged wife out of their vehicle, dragged her into the brush adjacent to the highway and proceeded to attack her with what officers said was a box cutter.
Sheriff Tom Schmerber informed The News Gram that Flores remains in custody and was magistrated by Justice of the Peace Dora Madera. JP Madera has ordered that he remain in custody without bond through at least next week. The woman remains in a San Antonio hospital in stable condition, however Schmerber says she has lost vision in at least one of her eyes in this the most heinous crime Maverick County has seen since October of 2013 when Homero Herrera allegedly fatally stabbed his wife Blanca Herrera in their home on Medina Street.
District Attorney Roberto Serna said that they were awaiting a court date as early as Thursday in this case.
