"We really want to pass the savings down to the customer," Davis said. "By buying in bulk and selling in bulk, we can do that."
One of the products offered by Davis and Garcia is a variety bulk pack that has several different meats.
Mr. Norman is a repeat customer and purchased one of the variety packs at the Eagle Pass sale.
"I think it's a wonderful deal," Norman said. "You couldn't ask for a better deal."
Norman is a former resident of Fort Worth, Tx., and said he used to live a few miles from the plant where the meats are packaged. Norman said he has always been satisfied with the product and has never had a complaint with the company.
Brandon Harkleroad of Abilene is also a repeat customer. He said the steaks in the 20 rib eyes for $30 promotion are perfect breakfast and fajita steaks.
"I came in Thursday and purchased a case of variety steaks, and we grilled them out that night," Harkleroad said. "Everything was great."
Davis and Garcia said they would be selling steaks in Eagle Pass until this last truck is empty.

Eagle Pass residents looking for bulk meats are in luck. A truckload of Midwestern beef is parked in the Mall de las Aguilas parking lot offering 20 rib-eye steaks for $30.
Chad Davis of New Orleans, La., and his business partner Rafael Garcia from Laredo arrived in Eagle Pass two weeks ago and intend to stay until this last truckload of meat has been sold.
Davis has been in the business since 1995 and said his business model is good for customers with today's economic climate.
"We buy USDA-approved steak in bulk, and we sell them in volume," Davis said. "We used to make more on fewer sales, but we've learned that during a recession that it is better for the company and the customer to make less per sale but sell more product."
Davis and Garcia are offering New York strip steaks, filets, T-Bones, hamburgers, rib eyes and boneless chicken breasts.
Davis said the truck and product must pass several levels of health inspection, including local health inspectors.
He also said they keep the truck at temperatures below zero degrees at all times to eliminate any chance of the steaks thawing out. He said he also has permits from the city and a contract with Mall de las Aguilas to park his truck.
Davis said he is trying to differentiate himself from door-to-door salesmen. He said his main concern is for the customers.
