The Eagle Pass News Gram caught up with foreman Joe Hearn who is in charge of overseeing the project underway on the corner of Del Rio Boulevard and Jodobo Streets, the construction of Kingdom Hall, a 4,500 square foot congregation hall which will be large enough to seat several hundred people. Some of the ladies who were busy assembling sections of what will be the roof of the building could be seen working with colorful neon hammers and pink work clothes. Obviously these volunteers have done this before.“They are all volunteers,” said Hearn, “They all come down here on their own. They pay their way down, we only take care of their food while they're here, but they are all volunteers."
