Reynolds struck first on a 25 yard pass to Juan Ortega in the first quarter then Chisum answered right back with a 16 yard TD run of his own.
Reynolds said if you can do this I can do it too on a 71 breakaway run with 7:50 remaining in the opening quarter.
Then Mark Venegas got involved in the scoring with a 41 yard scamper to the promised land to get the Eagles within six 14-13, but the two-point conversion failed.
Reynolds broke off another 75 yard run and Venegas caught a 15 yard pass from Chisum to tie the game after the Gonzalo Martinez PAT, all this in the first quarter.
Reynolds capped off their next offensive possession with a nine yard run to start off the second quarter, but Chisum answered back once again with a 50 yard strike to Jose Reyes to end the first quarter scoring, 20-28 Jay!
The Eagle defense thwarted the next Jay drive forcing them to settle for a Bishop Wood 35 yard field goal, but Reynolds got away yet again on an eight yard run with :24 left in the half. The two-point conversion was good and your halftime score was 45-27.
Jay scored three more times in the second half on two runs by Reynolds and a 77 yard reverse to Ortega, but the Eagles would answer with another TD by Chisum and two TD passes to Joseph Barrientos to make the final score Jay 65, Eagle Pass 47.
TY Chisum was eclipsed by Reynolds rushing by a significant margin 352 to 143, but he out passed reynolds 248 to 108. Chisum had four touchdown passes to Reynolds one showing scouts that he too should be in the recruiting race next February.
Venegas had nine rushes for 86 yards with two TD's and Barreintos came through for Eagle Pass with three receptions for 70 yards and two TD's. Jose Reyes caught three passes for 55 yards and a score.
