On Saturday, the volunteers of Paint The Town along with the Girl Scouts and other organizations Stuffed the Bus, well on Tuesday, they were busy stuffing individual school bags for students to feel motivated to start the new school year

Mayra Batagglia informed The News Gram that as of 10:00 AM on Tuesday, they had already prepared 1,880 bags for children to begin their school year and their goal was 3,000, "The guys are still working on the bags now, so far, so good!"

The volunteers stuffed binders, pencils, colored pencils, rulers and even glue so that those kids who will be attending today's Back to School Health Fair will report to school on the first day ready to learn.

"I think it's great that we've gotten the support from local businesses as well as the students whose parents have bought them over to help," said Juan Cuellar, "I'd also like to thank all of the other volunteers who came out to help yesterday."

"This is our eighth year doing this and we are hoping to have 3,000 bags.  We have Boy Scouts, we have Girl Scouts, we have Paint The Town Volunteers, volunteers from Let's Get Fit, NHS members from both schools, again we thank the kids.  We do this for the students and the students are the ones who help us," said Diana Sanchez who along with Hector Guerra and the countless local health agencies set aside a date to hold this health fair which grows more and more each and every year.
