De acuerdo con el Comisionado del Condado, José Luis Rosales, todo el tráfico para el alivio de inundaciones incluyendo maquinaria pesada causó una gran cantidad de desgaste de la calz da y costará más de $30,000.00 de material de repararlo adecuadamente. Director de Puentes y Carreteras Ernesto Guevara nos informó que el proyecto consta de 906 metros de pavimento que requerirá 355 toneladas de mezcla caliente a un costo de $ 32,000.00 y 25 yardas de concreto un total $ 1,867.50.

The Maverick County Road & Bridge Department is busy working on a stretch of Barrera Street which sustained significant damage during the flooding of last June as it was utilized as an alternate route to the highway on these days.
According to County Commissioner Jose Luis Rosales, all the traffic for flood relief including heavy equipment caused a lot of wear and tear on the roadway and it will take over $30,000.00 of material to repair it properly.
Road & Bridge Director Ernesto Guevara informed The News Gram that the project consists of 906 feet of pavement which will require 355 tons of hot mix at $32,000.00 and 25 yards of concrete at a total of $1,867.50.
