Chamber of Commerce Launches New Electronic Billboard

A private company has completed the installation process on a new electronic billboard in the parking area of the Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce. For the past decade Chamber of Commerce employees have had to put out community bulletins and messages on the board manually, sometimes in very hot temperatures and sometimes in very cold temperatures. But that is history as the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has approved the purchase of the this state of the art equipment that will allow for a more efficient way of communicating important information to the community as a whole. The Chamber of Commerce had previously attempted to buy similar technology but the prices of the equipment were around the $40,000 mark. This $13,000 investment not only saves time and allows the chamber to be much more efficient it will also add to the aesthetics of the building as well as provide accurate and timely information for all those who pass by the chamber as they cross to and from Mexico.
