The TxDOT Laredo District consists of Duval, Webb, La Salle, Dimmit, Zavala, Maverick, Kinney and Val Verde counties.
Laredo District Administrator Melisa Montemayor made a presentation displaying 123 Safe Days of Summer when giving our district the first place Urban Award for Fiscal Year 2013.
The Texas Department of Transportation Laredo District was recognized at the 87th Annual Transportation Short Course held at Texas A&M University in College Station October 15-16, 2013 and was awarded the Total Safety Performance Urban District First Place Award for the 123 Safe Days of Summer by meeting all four safety goals during that time frame: No hurts, No lost time, No lost days, and No collisions.
The Eagle Pass Maintenance Section Staff were recognized for their contribution toward earning the award. The Eagle Pass Staff was also recognized for the No Lost Time Achievement Award.
