Vaccination campaign to be held April 19th

A vaccination campaign was held on Saturday, March 29 at Maverick County Lake where Dr. Claudia Torres was in charge of providing the different vaccines to both dogs and cats.

It is very important to have your pets vaccinated against rabies and the parvo virus/distemper vaccine which are very dangerous conditions which can lead to the death of your pet.

According to Dr. Torres, 130 animals were vaccinated this weekend.

The next campaign will be on April 19th.

The rabies vaccine is only $12.00 and the Parvo/Distemper is $18.00.

She will also be administering the feline vaccine for cats which is only $18.00.

The Frontline Plus flea/tick treatment for 30 days is $15.00 as are the Preventic Collars for dogs three months or older.

Intestinal Parasite Dewormer for pets over one month are only $5.00.

The dewormer which is vital for puppies which are at least a month old is only $5.00.
