Press Release

The Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) is committed to provide the highest quality of care and attention to every situation. The health of all students and staff within our district is our first priority and that is why we have contacted the Department of Health and Human Services for an evaluation of Eagle Pass High School.

With the recommendations that were made, EPISD has arranged for Commercial Bat Control to visit Eagle Pass High School on Monday January 20, to ensure safe, effective and humane bat removal and exclusion. These professionals will thoroughly inspect the building for points of entry, seal off any areas that are found, and mount “Bat Excluders” on the exit openings. The Commercial Bat Control does not use any poisons or pesticides instead they use methods that are effective. We respect the concerns of parents and safety remains our number one concern. Our District remains steadfast with our responsibility of providing a safe environment to our students and staff of our community.  CLASSES ARE REGULARLY SCHEDULED FOR MONDAY JAN 20TH 2014
