Subject Steals Money from Shell Gas station in Seco Mines

Authorities on Wednesday reported that a male subject walked into the shell convenience store located at the 3100 block on Del Rio Blvd and stole close to $1,000.

The Maverick County Sheriff's reported that the theft occurred in the early morning hours of Wednesday when a male subject walked into the gas station and directed himself behind the counter area.

He then took an amount of money reported to be close to $1,000.

The subject then ran out and disappeared into the night.

The cashier who at the time was cleaning and restocking in an area within the store called 911 to report the crime.

An investigation is ongoing including a review of the stores security camera system to try to identify the subject.
