Authorities on Wednesday evening gathered at the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers, where they escorted SBPA Maldonado to Memorial Funeral Chapel, where his wake and burial will take place.
Jorge Maldonado was born in Eagle Pass, Texas, where he lived all his life. He dedicated his life to serving others, first as an Eagle Pass Fire Department Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Agent Maldonado went on to work with the United States Border Patrol and an EMT and supervisory role.
Mr. Maldonado is survived by his wife Isela Segura Maldonado, children and family members.
"Mr. Maldonado was a great man who had a love for life and family. That love was shown towards his local community as a member of the U.S. Border Patrol. All who knew him realized he was a great husband, friend, and wonderful human being," posted Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Jorge Antonio Maldonado will be honored and remembered with services at Memorial Funeral Chapel.
Viewing: Friday, July 12, 2024, from 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm and Saturday, July 13, 2024, from 8:30 am - 11:00 am. His burial will be held at the Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery at 11:30 am on Saturday.
