Actualmente, el distrito está construyendo áreas de sombra en los campos de béisbol de las instalaciones que son parte de alrededor de $4,500,000 en mejoras que incluyeron mejoras en el estadio de fútbol, césped artificial, nuevas pantallas y otros proyectos.

El proyecto de marquesinas para dar sombra al complejo del campo de béisbol se inició hace unas semanas y se completará en las próximas semanas.

Este proyecto fue implementado en 2022 por la Junta Directiva del Distrito Escolar Independiente de Eagle Pass, quienes continúan trabajando junto al Superintendente Samuel Mijares y la administración para el mejoramiento de los estudiantes y la comunidad de EPISD.

EPISD Working on Baseball Field Improvement Project

The Eagle Pass Independent School District continues working on several capital improvement projects including the Student Activities Center (SAC) upgrades.

Currently, the district is constructing shading areas at the facility's baseball fields that are part of around $4,500,000 in improvements that included upgrades at the football stadium, artifical turf, new screen, and other projects.

The baseball field complex shading canopies project was initiated a few weeks ago and is to be completed in the coming weeks.

This project was set in place back in 2022 by the Eagle Pass Independent School District Board of Trustees who continue to work alongside Superintendent Samuel Mijares and administration for the betterment of the EPISD students and community.

"We continue committed to our students and staff in being able to provide the necessary tools, amenities, and opportunities for their success," said Superintendent Mijares.
