18 Year Old Arrested at School on Warrant for Failure to Appear in Court
The Maverick County Sheriff's Department arrested an 18-year-old high school student on a warrant of arrest for failure to appear in a court setting on a previous criminal charge.
Sheriff Tom Schmerber reported that the subject, identified as Alan Perez who was previously arrested on burglary of a store near the Thompson Road area, was detained at school on the warrant for failure to appear.
Perez was remanded to the Tom Bowles Detention Center where he now faces further charges.
