Las autoridades informaron que agentes del Departamento de Seguridad Pública de Texas y agentes del Departamento del Sheriff estuvieron involucrados en una persecución que se inició cerca de la carretera 216 de N. Veterans Blvd y terminó en la autopista US57.
La persecución continuó durante varias millas cuando el vehículo perseguido perdió el control y volcó en la autopista US 57 cuando el DPS realizó una maniobra.
Afortunadamente nadie resultó gravemente herido en el accidente.
Los involucrados fueron detenidos.
Human Smuggling chase ends in Rollover
A Human Smuggling chase ended up in a vehicle rollover on Thursday night.
Authorities reported that Texas Department of Public Safety Troopers and Sheriff Department deputies were involved in a pursuit that was initiated near spur 216 off N. Veterans Blvd and ended on a Highway US57.
The pursuit went on for several miles when the vehicle being pursued lost control and overturned along US Highway 57 when DPS conducted a pit maneuver.
Luckily, no one was seriously injured in the accident.
Those involved were detained.
