The United States Del Rio Sector Border Patrol over the weekend reported that 2 undocumented migrants were injured after being pushed off a moving train in an area near Thompson Rd.

The report states that Border Patrol Emergency Medical Technicians were summoned to an area where 2 individuals had suffered head injuries when they were pushed off the train.

"EMTs arrived on scene and provided first aid to 2 migrants that sustained head injuries after they were pushed off of a train. This is yet another tragic example of the incredible dangers migrants face when they take the treacherous journey into the U.S. illegally," informed BP.

The Thompson Rd. area near the rail road tracks has had several tragic incidents including the death of several migrants attempting to hide within the moving trains.

Authorities do urge that individuals not board the trains because of the dangers in doing so.
