Se revisó el tema y los fideicomisarios presentes nombraron a Elishoel Reyes como el nuevo Presidente de la Junta.

El Sr. Reyes aceptó la nominación y procedió con la reunión.

Durante la reunión, la junta con la Directora del Programa de Main St, Zenaida Rodríguez, discutieron los montos de los premios disponibles para las solicitudes de Becas Facade.

Luego, la Junta aprobó aumentar las cantidades disponibles para las empresas que buscan solicitar y calificar para una subvención de fachada.

El financiamiento de la subvención de fachada disponible ahora aumentará de $10,000 a $20,000 para proyectos de tamaño regular y de $20,000 a $40,000 para proyectos de mayor escala.

La directiva del Programa Main St aprobó la propuesta.

Main St. Board Names New President, Increase Grant Funding Amounts Available

The Eagle Pass Main St. Program Board of Trustees held a meeting on Thursday, February 16th in which they named a new President.

The item was reviewed and the trustees in attendance named Elishoel Reyes as the new Board President.

Mr. Reyes accepted the nomination and proceeded with the meeting.

During the meeting, the board along with Main St. Program Director Zenaida Rodriguez discussed the  award amounts available for Facade Grant applications.

The Board then approved to increase the amounts available to businesses looking to apply and qualify for a facade grant.

The facade grant funding available will now increase from $10,000 to $20,000 for regular-size projects and from $20,000 to $40,000 for larger-scaled projects.

The Main St. Program Board of Trustees approved the proposal.
