El miércoles 26 de enero, los diputados del sheriff del condado de Uvalde fueron convocados a una llamada donde encontraron a un inmigrante indocumentado fallecido que parecía haberse caído de un tren en movimiento.

"Los diputados de la UCSO continúan ocupados con nuestro problema actual de inmigración. El 26 de enero, aproximadamente a las 10:00 p. se determinó que el individuo había fallecido y posiblemente se había caído de uno de los vagones de tren. Los diputados están trabajando actualmente para identificar al individuo.

Este tipo de incidentes trágicos son un recordatorio de los peligros que enfrentan las personas que buscan cruzar ilegalmente al país.

Cada semana, cientos, si no miles, de vidas se ponen en peligro cuando intentan ingresar a los Estados Unidos.

Undocumented Immigrant Falls Off Train and Dies

The tragedies of illegal immigration continue across the region.

On Wednesday, January 26, Uvalde County Sheriff Deputies were summoned to a call where they found a deceased undocumented immigrant who appeared to have fallen off a moving railroad train. 

"UCSO Deputies continue to stay busy with our current immigration issue. On January 26 at approximately 10:00 p.m. Deputies responded to the area west of F.M. 1403 & Hacienda for a report of an individual laying next to the railroad tracks. Upon their arrival it was determined the individual was deceased and had possibly fallen off one of the rail cars. Deputies are currently working on identifying the individual. 

These kind of tragic incidents are a reminder of the dangers individuals looking to cross illegally into the country face.

On a weekly basis hundreds, if not thousands, of lives are put in harm's way as they attempt to make their way into the United States.
