El aumento de la tarifa de cruce cambiará la tarifa de la tarjeta VIP Crossing Card de $ 3 a $ 3.50.

Entrará en vigor el 1 de octubre de 2021.

El director del puente, Homero Balderas, ha declarado que se contempla aumentar la tarifa a $ 4.00 para el año siguiente.

Los nuevos ingresos se utilizarán en parte en la expansión continua de ambos puentes internacionales.

Actualmente, la Ciudad está trabajando en varios proyectos de mejoras capitales en el Puente Internacional No 2.

Bridge System looking at Increasing VIP Card Holder Fees

The City of Eagle Pass International Bridge System is expected to implement an increase to its VIP Crossing Card fees for the upcoming new fiscal year.

The crossing fee increase will change the VIP Crossing Card rate from $3.00 to $3.50.

It will go into effect on October 1, 2021.

Bridge Director Homero Balderdas has stated that it's contemplated to increase the fee to $4.00 for the following year.

The new revenues are in part to be used in the continued expansion of both international bridges.

Currently, the City is working on several capital improvement projects on International Bridge No. 2.
