El conductor se negó a detenerse y evadió viajar hacia la ciudad de Eagle Pass. Como resultado de la conducción imprudente de los conductores, se estrelló contra otro vehículo y causó lesiones corporales graves a un inmigrante ilegal que estaba siendo contrabandeado.

El conductor, Brayam David Chaparro Gardner, 33 YOA, y el pasajero, Jason Daniel Gonazalez Lopez, 33 YOA, intentaron huir a pie, pero fueron aprehendidos. Gardner fue arrestado y acusado de evadir el arresto, posesión de una sustancia controlada y tráfico de personas. López fue arrestado y acusado de tráfico de personas y manipulación de pruebas.

Los traficantes de personas exponen a los inmigrantes ilegales a condiciones peligrosas, ya que no tienen en cuenta su seguridad y la seguridad del público automovilístico.

Two Arrested will face Charges after Pursuit Ends in Crash on Main St.

The Texas Department of Public Safety South Texas Region reported that during the Labor Day holiday, a Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper attempted to stop a Ford SUV for a traffic violation on Highway US 277, near the Maverick and Dimmit County line.

The driver refused to stop and evaded traveling towards the City of Eagle Pass. The driver’s reckless driving caused him to crash into another vehicle, causing serious bodily injury to an illegal immigrant who was being smuggled.

The driver, Brayam David Chaparro Gardner, 33 YOA, and passenger, Jason Daniel Gonazalez Lopez, 33 YOA, attempted to flee on foot, but were apprehended. Gardner was placed under arrest and charged with evading arrest, possession of a controlled substance and smuggling of persons. Lopez was placed under arrest and charged with smuggling of persons and tampering  w/ evidence.

Human smugglers expose illegal immigrants to perilous conditions as they have no regard for their safety, and the safety of the motoring public.
