Los funcionarios de la Patrulla Fronteriza declararon que se había detenido un muy peligroso intento de contrabando por la carretera después de que el contrabandista y los inmigrantes indocumentados intentaron escapar de la detención.

"Ayer, un intento terminó poco después de que un contrabandista atravesó un puesto de control migratorio sin detenerse en un intento de evitar el arresto. Todos los sujetos fueron localizados y arrestados luego de salir del vehículo", informaron Agentes del Sector Del Rio.

Durante los últimos meses, los agentes de la Patrulla Fronteriza han estado lidiando con un aumento en las actividades ilegales que incluyen actos más descarados de contrabandistas e inmigrantes indocumentados que intentan escapar de la detención.

BP Detain Individuals After they Attempt to Drive Through Checkpoint

The United States Del Rio Sector Border Patrol reported that a smuggler attempted to drive through an immigratiion checkpoint without stopping on Tuesday, August 10, 2021.

Border Patrol officials stated that a very dangerous over-the-road smuggling attempt had been stopped after the smuggler and undocumented immigrants attempted to escape detention.

"Yesterday, an attempt ended shortly after a smuggler drove through an immigration checkpoint without stopping in an attempt to avoid arrest. All subjects were located and arrested after bailing out of the vehicle," reported Del Rio Sector Agents.

For the past several months, Border Patrol agents have been dealing with an increase in illegal activities which includes more brazen acts by smugglers and undocumented immigrants attempting to escape detention.
