The largest Job Fair of its kind in Eagle Pass will be held on July 11th at the Eagle Pass International Center for Trade.
400 businesses are scheduled to attend. The event is geared towards minimizing the jobless rate in Maverick County.
Ronnie Rivera of the Eagle Pass Workforce Center said that more and more businesses register each day including the petroleum companies in the Eagle Ford Shale Project in Dimmit County who are offering job opportunities with good pay.
Other types of jobs and employment opportunities will also be available.
Job-seekers are asked to bring any and all documentation necessary in order to fill out applications on the spot and be ready to work immediately if hired.
