Armed Subject Robs Six Pack Gas Station at Gun Point

Maverick County Sheriff Tom Schmerber reported that a male subject committed an armed robbery at the Six Pack Gas Station on Friday, July 23, 2021.

Sheriff Schmerber stated that Deputies responded to the Six Pack Stop regarding a male subject who committed robbery while displaying a handgun and took over $500 in cash from the cash register.

The Maverick County Pct. 3 Constables Office and Sheriff Deputies searched the area and located the male subject matching the description nearby.

The male subject, later identified as Steve Alexander Castillon (19 YOA) was in possession of cash and was placed under arrest for Aggravated Robbery.

Deputies were unable to locate the handgun.

Castillon was then transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for further processing.
