BP Apprehends 12 Undocumented Immigrants hiding in a Rail Car

The United States Border Patrol apprehended over 12 undocumented immigrants who were hiding in a railcar in an area about 5 miles north of Thompson Rd. on Sunday afternoon.

The undocumented immigrants were detained and taken in by Border Patrol agents.

They were then transported to the U.S. Border Patrol South Station for further processing.

The surge of undocumented immigrants is continuing, and often overwhelming authorities.

Most recently, Chief Patrol Agent for the Del Rio Border Sector Austin Skero stated that they are having over 1,000 encounters on a daily basis.

Just this year, Del Rio Sector Border Patrol Agents have conducted over 1,700 rescues of individuals that are willing to try anything to avoid being apprehended.
