El subjefe del departamento del sheriff del condado de Maverick, Roberto De León, informó que los oficiales respondieron a una llamada de disturbios domésticos en una residencia ubicada en La Herradura, donde se pusieron en contacto con un individuo muy agresivo.

Se alega que Chávez había usado una silla para romper algunas ventanas de la casa y también había amenazado con incendiar la casa.

Durante el incidente, se encontró a Chávez en posesión de marihuana y metanfatemina.

Fue detenido y transportado al centro de detención de Tom Bowles para su procesamiento.

Subject arrested after threatening to Burn Home Down

Maverick County Sheriff's deputies arrested 27-year-old Raul Chavez on Domestic Disturbance charges after he alledgedly attacked members of his family and threatened to burn down a residence.

Maverick County Sheriff Department Chief Deputy Roberto De Leon reported that deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call at a residence located in La Herradura where they made contact with a very aggressive individual.

It's alleged that Chavez had used a chair to break some windows at the home and had also threatened to burn the home down. During the incident, Chavez was found in possession of marijuana and methemphatemine.

He was detained and transported to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.
