Canvas Election
results today
The Eagle Pass City
Council will hold a special
meeting on Thursday, June 24
where they will canvas the
votes for the Councilperson
Place No. 4 race held this past
Saturday.
After canvassing the votes
the Eagle Pass City Council,
led by Mayor Rolando
Salinas, will then declare
Monica J. Cruz the official
winner.
Mrs. Cruz will then be
sworn in as the newest City
Council member.
Cruz will join the Eagle
Pass City Council which is
compromised of Mayor
Rolando Salinas, Mayor Pro
Tem Yolanda Ramon
Councilmen Elias Diaz and
Billy Davis.
Cruz has stated that she is
ready to begin serving the community
and thanks all the city
voters who came out to vote.
