Over 36% of people getting tested coming back positive

According to the Emergency Operation Center figures there have been 5,787 people tested for Covid-19 in the month of January, with 2,126 of those coming out positive.

That represents a 36.7 positivity rate for the month, and with 10 days left in the month it's only expected to increase more during that time.

Officials are urging the community to follow all safety measures set in place due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

This includes wearing a mask, washing your hands often and practicing safe social distancing.
