La venta y subasta está programada para el sábado, pero bajo estrictas medidas de distanciamiento social debido a la pandemia Covid-19.
El director de MCJLS, Tim Hardt, la administración y los voluntarios quisieran agradecer a todos los que hicieron posible el espectáculo y el evento a través de los diferentes cambios, pero para asegurar que los animales de los estudiantes se exhibieran y que la subasta y la venta continuaran.
A lo largo de la semana, los estudiantes mostraron su producto que incluyó conejos, pollos, corderos, cabras, cerdos y novillos.
En su mayoría estaban acompañados solo por miembros de la familia, ya que se aplicaron pautas estrictas durante todas las presentaciones y eventos semanales.
La mayor parte del programa MCJLS de 2021 se mostró en línea para que la comunidad lo disfrutara.
Uno debe realmente aplaudir los esfuerzos de todos los involucrados, incluidos los cientos de estudiantes que han dedicado meses a criar a sus animales de exhibición, lo que ayuda a los jóvenes de muchas maneras, incluido el desarrollo de la responsabilidad, el aumento de la autoestima, el liderazgo y las habilidades para la vida.
2021 Maverick County Junior Livestock Show week comes to an end
The Maverick County Junior Livestock Association exhibition and sale winded down on Friday, January 22nd with the naming of the Grand Champions and Reserve Champions.
The sale and auction is scheduled to take place on Saturday, but under strict social distancing measures due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
MCJLS Director Tim Hardt, administration and volunteers would like to thank all who made the show and event possible through the different changes, but to assure that the student’s animals were showcased and the auction and sale continued through.
Throughout the week, the students showcased their product which included rabbits, chickens, lambs, goats, hogs and steers.
They were mostly accompanied by only family members, as strict guidelines were enforced throughout the entire weekly showings and events.
Most of the 2021 MCJLS Show was shown online for the community to enjoy.
One must truly applaud the efforts of all involved including the hundreds of students who have dedicated months to upbringing their show animals, which helps youth in so many ways including developing responsibility, increased self-esteem, leadership and life skills.
