El vehículo fue atacado por agentes policiales locales en el condado de Real y varios inmigrantes indocumentados se ubicaron dentro.

El conductor huyó a pie y estaba siendo rastreado por agentes.

Se informa que al menos 7 inmigrantes indocumentados fueron detenidos una vez que el vehículo se detuvo.

Illegal alien smuggler fires weapon at BP Agents

The United States Border Patrol reported that while agents were out working in an area near Brackettville, Texas an individual fired a weapon at them on Sunday, January 3, 2021.

The US Del Rio Sector Border Patrol stated that USBP agents attempted to stop a suspected alien smuggler on Ranch Road 334 near Brackettville, Texas.

The driver pulled over and fired a weapon at our agents from the vehicle before driving away. No one was injured by gunfire.

The vehicle was spiked by local law enforcement partners in Real County and several undocumented immigrants were located inside.

The driver fled on foot and was being tracked by agents.

It's reported that at least 7 undocumented immigrants were detained once the vehicle did come to a stop.
