Local attorney Heriberto Morales of the Langley & Banack Law Firm has been named president of the Maverick County Bar Association. The naming took place on Wednesday. The association has approximately 55 members.
Morales takes the place of Felipe Hernandez.
The members of the Bar voted to make other nominations including Rolando Salinas as vice-president. Salinas is part of the Law Offices of Knickerbocker, Heredia, Jasso and Steward.
Local attorney Edgar H. Juarez was named Secretary and the office of Treasurer will be filled by Francisco Martinez III.
The aforementioned appointments occurred on Wednesday February 13th.
President Morales and the rest of the Maverick County Bar Association are eager to rise up to the task and they will continue working for the betterment of the prestigious local association.
It has been in the last ten years that the bar has grown in terms of the number of lawyers in Eagle Pass.
