The Turkeys will be distributed through a raffle type system in which families signed up and their names will be chosen in a raffle at the Maverick County Lake.
Maverick County Judge David Saucedo and Eagle Pass Mayor Luis Sifuentes announced the raffle on Monday, November 16.
The giveaway will be taking place on Thursday, November 19 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
The winners will be contacted on Wednesday. They may then pick up the Turkey Dinners on Thursday. The meals are unprepared.

Local officials along with the South Texas Food Bank will be distributing approximately 200 turkeys with all the Trimmings to families in our community.
