Robinson, que comenzará su segundo y último mandato de 4 años, fue la que obtuvo la mayor cantidad de votos con 5.946 votos o el 34,85% de los votos. Humberto Beto Duran obtuvo 3.792 votos o el 22,22% de los votos. El candidato y empresario por primera vez Gerardo “Gera” Villalpando quedó en tercer lugar con 3.770 o el 22,09% de los votos. J.M. “Chuco” Farias, quien se ha desempeñado como miembro de la directiva del Distrito Hospitalario por más de 20 años, se quedó corto por aproximadamente 215 votos para la reelección con 3,555 votos respectivos o 20.83%. Robinson, Duran, and Villalpando elected to Maverick County Hospital District Board

Incumbent Rebecca “Becky” Robinson, Humberto “Beto” Duran, and Gerardo “Gera” Villalpando were elected by the Maverick County voters to the Maverick County Hospital District Board of Trustees on Tuesday, November 3rd. Robinson, who is to begin her second and final 4 year term was the top vote getter with 5,946 votes, or 34.85% of the votes. Longtime Medical Administrator Humberto Beto Duran garnered 3,792 votes or 22.22% of the votes. First time candidate and entrepreneur Gerardo “Gera” Villalpando came in third with 3,770, or 22.09% of the vote. J.M. “Chuco” Farias who has served as a trustee for the Hospital District for over 20 years fell short by approximately 215 votes for re-election with 3,555 respective votes, or 20.83%. The newly elected MCHD Board of Trustees will take their oath at the beginning of the new year. Congratulations to all the candidates.
