La mujer identificada como Sarai Longoria Rivas iba a ser transportada por un ayudante del alguacil del condado de Maverick al centro de detención de Tom Bowles para su procesamiento.

Durante ese tiempo, el sujeto tuvo algunos problemas médicos y se desmayó.

El personal de EMS del Departamento de Bomberos de Eagle Pass fue convocado al lugar y ayudó a la mujer.

El sujeto fue trasladado al hospital local para su posterior tratamiento y evaluación. La llevarán a un centro de salud mental en los próximos días para buscar ayuda.

Woman who broke into impound yard has medical problem while in custody

The woman who broke into a vehicle impound yard to steal her own vehicle on Tuesday morning suffered a breakdown as she was to be transferred from the Eagle Pass Police Department to the Tom Bowles Detention Center.

The female identified as Sarai Longoria Rivas was to be transported by a Maverick County Sheriff's deputy to the Tom Bowles Detention Center for processing.

During that time the subject had some medical issues and fainted.

The Eagle Pass Fire Department EMS personnel were summoned to the scene and assisted the female.

The subject was transported to the local hospital for further treatment and evaluation. She will be taken to a mental health facility in the following days to seek assistance.
