Last night, Eagle Pass Station agents received a 911 call regarding a pregnant woman who was in need of medical assistance because she had gone into labor while walking through the brush.
Several agents responded and immediately rendered critical care to the mother and newborn child,” reported USCBP.
The woman and her newborn were transported to the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers to be observed and receive treatment.
She will then be turned over to Border Patrol to proceed with proper actions against the individual.
