During his visit, Morgan and USCBP Personnel discussed many important topics including the work that is being done at our ports to control ingress and egress to our Country.
The high ranking official also went through the daily operations and efforts with our Mexican counterparts to continue fighting crime even through the Covid-19 Pandemic.
“CBP remains committed to jointly stopping weapons smuggling with our Mexican partners. I saw firsthand the tremendous outbound work at the Eagle Pass POE, where CBP & Mexico recently agreed to expand joint efforts. In FY20TD, the POE has intercepted over 100 firearms and approximately $2 Million dollars,” tweeted Morgan.
Del Rincon, stated that Commissioner Morgan was able to see the good relationship between Mexican Customs Enforcement and USCBP.
