Officials report no Covid deaths and 50 new positive cases

After having several days in a row with at least two reported deaths from Covid-19, officials announced on Thursday afternoon that the total remained at 36.

Public officials, Maverick County Judge David Saucedo and Eagle Pass Mayor Luis Sifuentes held their daily press briefing in which they informed the community that there were 50 new Covid-19 cases reported.This brings the total of infections to 1,852.

There are 873 active cases and 943 have recovered. Officials have tested 10,841 people with 8,518 coming back negative.
