Val Verde County health authorities reported the deaths of 14 people due to Covid-19 in a span of 24 hours.
This takes their total to 22 deaths.
Late Tuesday evening, officials released their numbers and informed the community that their death toll had gone from 8 on Monday to 22.
Up to now they have 1,006 positive cases for Covid-19.
They have tested 7,114 people of which 5,384 have come back negative.
They have had 259 people recover and 747 active cases.
