The City of Eagle Pass recognized the month of July as National Parks and Recreation month.

Eagle Pass Mayor Luis Sifuentes and City Administrators presented Parks and Recreation Director Jorge Sanchez and employees a proclamation recognizing the hard work and dedication that personnel from these departments do to keep our community parks in top shape for all to enjoy.

For years, Parks and Recreation Department Director Jorge Sanchez and department personnel have provided an integral service to our residents.

Parks and Recreation programs are an integral part throughout the country including in Eagle Pass.

These programs are vitally important in establishing and maintaining the quality of life and health for all citizens in our communities. They contribute to the economic and environmental well-being of our community.
