Statistically, 1 out of every 50.28 persons per capita has tested positive for Covid-19 in Maverick County. 

The total amount of population according to the United States Census Bureau (2019 estimated figure) is at 58,720. Up to date there are 1,169 people in Maverick County that have tested positive for Covid-19.

Local health officials have tested 9,083 people or 15.4 percent of our entire population (58,722). Of those 7,254 people have tested negative for Covid-19.

As of Friday, July 17 there are 1,169 people infected with Covid-19.

519 of those people have been deemed recovered. There are 634 active cases.

Tragically another three people have died due to complications stemming from the Covid-19 Virus. This brings the death total to 16.

Officials state that there are 616 tests results pending.

Up to this point there are approximately 61 people hospitalized due to the Covid-19 Virus at the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Centers.
