Al llegar, el diputado habló con un oficial del Departamento de Policía de Eagle Pass que informó que se había producido un incidente dentro de los límites de la ciudad, pero que era un conflicto de intereses debido a que ambas personas eran empleados de la Ciudad de Eagle Pass.

Luego, el diputado habló con la demandante, quien declaró que fue atacada por su marido en la cuadra 1600 de Champion Circle entre las 7:00 a.m. y las 8:00 a.m.el jueves 7 de mayo.

El demandante no deseaba presentar ningún cargo formal en el momento del informe.

Este incidente fue documentado. Se hizo contacto con el Administrador de la Ciudad George Antuna con respecto a este presunto incidente.

El dijo que revisará el serio asunto y sus alegaciones en los próximos dias.

City employees involved in domestic disturbance

The Maverick County Sheriff's Department reported that a Sheriff deputy was dispatched to the Eagle Pass Police Department in reference to an assault family violence incident report.

Upon arrival, the deputy spoke to an Eagle Pass Police Department Corporal Officer who informed that an incident had occurred within city limits, but was a conflict of interest due to both individuals being employees with the City of Eagle Pass.

The deputy then spoke to the complainant who stated that she was assaulted by her common law husband by the 1600 block of Champion Circle between 7:00 am to 8:00 am on Thursday, May 7th.

The complainant did not wish to file any formal charges at the time of the report.

This incident was documented. Contact was made with City Manager George Antuna in regard to this alleged incident. He stated that he will be reviewing this serious matter and allegations in the coming days.
