USCBP to hold Trusted Traveler Program presentation at City Hall

The United States Customs and Border Protection will be holding a Trusted Traveler Program presentation on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Eagle Pass City Hall Council Chambers located at 100 S. Monroe Street. 

The Trusted Traveler Program offers a faster security screening process to pre-vetted domestic and international travelers, alleviating long lines and freeing both TSA and CBP officers to focus on unknown passengers.

Some topics to be covered during the presentation includes; Benefits of the Trusted Traveler Program/difference between SENTRI and GLOBAL- Brief explanation of the application process to include the required documents and the cost of both the SENTRI and GLOBAL programs, overview of what to expect once the application has been submitted and the steps that follow, including the interview Program rules and regulations. 

Questions will be answered after the presentation. Customs and Border Protection officers will be on-hand to assist anyone interested in applying onsite.

Those wishing to apply onsite must provide their own electronic device (phone/laptop/ ipad with Wi-Fi).
